Our Baby Unit is able to take children from the ages of 3months - 2 years old.

We have a range of toys and activities to keep your young children amused and to

encourage their confidence and independence.

We have two rooms in our baby unit, one is their activity room and the other one is

their sleep room which is cosy, homely and very inviting! 

In the activity room the children experience independence with our messy play

and our free play to encourage them to choose their own toys and activities to

play with. They have meal times and snacks together in order to gain social skills

and also have a key person system so that they can be observed to develop their

understanding of the world.

We work in partnership with parents to establish a routine that the staff will

continue at Nursery for the individual babies in their care. We have started a new

'treasure box' system where parents will bring in favourite toys and comforters

from home, and we will include new toys from nursery to develop individual learning -

we also will include natural materials to continue their learning of the outside

environment.
